On March 7, 2021, all companies with more than 50 employees are required<\/strong> to have Equality Plans in force and approved in accordance with the regulations.<\/p>\n

Royal Decree 901\/2020 introduced this regulation and, in the first instance, companies with more than 100 employees were required to develop and approve Equality Plans by March 7, 2021. Now, this obligation has been extended to a large number of companies by lowering the limit to more than 50 employees.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Failure to comply with Equality Plans: fines up to 225,018 \u20ac.<\/h4>\n

If your business is among the obligated ones, you should know that not having Equality Plans (nor having started to do so) or incurring in more severe non-compliance, such as not correcting the wage gap or ignoring discrimination cases<\/strong> The fines for gender-based offenses may now range from \u20ac7,500 to \u20ac225,018.<\/p>\n

Therefore, ignoring the regulations introduced by RD 901\/2020 is a bad idea. Luckily we bring you this ebook where we summarize what Equality Plans consist of and how to develop them:<\/p>\n
